I’m Odette, this blog’s face, writer, and visionary. I called this blog “Her Authentic Crown” because I believe all girls and women have a purpose and should have authority over their destinies.

Her Authentic Crown is my way of inviting you to grow with me as I become a world citizen (or what I call a queen citizen). 

This blog is filled with helpful tips on making the most of your education and is a recollection of the lessons I’ve learned while attending university and life afterward.

My passion for girls’ education started when I was eleven years old. I read “The Breadwinner” in school and later read the series. Five years later, I read “I AM Malala,” and these books have been my favourites!
